The China Committee has been promoting Hong Kong as the international bridge connecting Mainland China with the world. It is one of the most active committees in the Chamber, and is responsible for advising and assisting the Chamber in formulating policy, enhancing economic relations and strengthening trade. The committee keeps members up to date on the latest economic developments and new policies in Hong Kong and the Mainland that will impact their business, through organizing timely roundtable luncheons, seminars and study missions.

Meeting with Director of Zhuhai Bureauof Commerce

General Committee Member, Vice Chairman of China Committee, PC Yu,met with Xie Liang, Director of Zhuhai Bureauof Commerce on 11 June.The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is expected to be opened in year 2017 and the transportation time between Hong Kong and Zhuhai would be reduced to 40 minutes. Following this improvement in transportation, the cooperation between Hong Kong and Zhuhai will be strengthened.
