CEO Manpower Conference

Business leaders, people management specialists, academics, and senior government officials gather at this biennial manpower conference to mind each other's collective wisdom to come up with practical proposals that can furnish the Chamber, our members, and government officials in appropriate bureaus, with specific action points on manpower strategies ahead.

Discussions focus on drawing up strategies to form recommendations for government action. Our longer-term structural manpower challenges focus on how we can keep our city open to the flow of appropriately skilled people into and out of the economy, and how to foster appropriate education for our future generation and cultivate lifelong learning. At corporate levels, how companies can take on appropriate people management approach to help attract, develop and retain their talented staff in accordance to the corporate culture and development.

All the findings will be distilled into a blueprint for the Chamber's Manpower Committee to guide its work and submissions to government.
